Muscat Gases Company unveiled a campaign under the title ‘Together with His Majesty Sultan Haitham for a Safe Future’, which includes a number of community initiatives in conjunction with the sultanate's celebrations of the 50th National Day.

At a press meet in the Kempinski Hotel, Omar Ahmed Salim Cattan, chairman of the Board of Directors of Muscat Gases Company, stressed the importance of community initiatives and their role in educating the community.

He praised the support of the authorities and institutions participating in the initiatives.

He added that he was inspired by the supreme directives of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and urged the private sector to focus on the constant pursuit of finding promising and renewable sources of growth, finding fruitful opportunities for the young generation, and providing excellent, safe and high-quality services.

He said he expects markets to witness a quantum leap in integrated and comprehensive solutions by creating job opportunities for Omani youth and societal awareness of health, security, safety, and the environment. The campaign will focus on the use of modern, safer, lighter, and environmentally friendly cylinders.

Cattan pointed out that the company's management is studying alternatives to using gas in a positive manner with the movement of the national economy.

On his part, Yunus al Nasri, director of Makasib Team, touched on the Nua’een Wanoa’wen initiative and the role of institutions in achieving goals for community development.
