Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CMA, CPA, or Chartered Accountant is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
- Strong knowledge of financial management, cost control, accounting, payroll, fixed assets, cash management, and bank reconciliation.
- Good knowledge of financial reporting, audit, compliance, and internal controls.
- Proficiency in accounting systems and MIS.
- Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, integrity, and ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial reports and provide financial analysis and information to management.
- Manage and monitor accounting activities, including fixed assets, inventory, depreciation, and reconciliations.
- Review and process payroll and employee benefits, ensuring accurate accounting and timely payments.
- Prepare and process payments, ensuring all required approvals are obtained and payments are made on time.
- Manage petty cash and advance funds and ensure proper reconciliation with supporting documents.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and maintain accurate bank and accounting records.
- Assist in cash flow preparation and cash management.
- Support internal and external audit activities and respond to audit findings.
- Assist in developing and implementing financial and accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Support cost control and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Perform other accounting, financial, or administrative duties as assigned.
