Technical Sales
Description

As Technical Sales Executive you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective sales of MGC products in order to facilitate growth and increased sales in accordance with the Business Plan. This position reports to the Sales and Marketing Manager.

Responsibilities

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Working under design and tendering projects and responsible to prepare a proposal for LPG projects.
  • Researching for new projects and new clients to make new business.
  • Presenting our technical proposal for supplying installation and commissioning for the LPG system and explain to the client all technical support.
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing and new clients.
    Making estimations and preparation of BOQ for new projects.
  • Working in Auto-cad and drawing.
  • Arranging meetings with potential clients, to prospect for new business.
  • Following up with the clients to check about our offer and clarify for all technical information.
  • Arrange Site survey with the clients to understand their requirements and presenting appropriately.
  • Prepare competitive bids in time in accordance with requirements
  • Follow-up with customers regarding the outcome of competitive bids. Obtain reasons for failure wherever possible and report to the Sales Manager.
  • Assist the Fleet Manager to co-ordinate deliveries, wherever necessary
  • Be responsible for payment collections for various customers.
  • Update and issue payment tracking to the Sales Manager on a weekly basis.
Qualifications
  • BA/BS in Mechanical Engineering, business or other relevant scientific field or equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience.
  • 5 + years of managerial and business development experience, 3 years minimum Technical experience in LPG plants and project development functions.
  • Experience in developing and leading the strategic execution of corporate business initiatives, including commercial and industrial products and services in a B2B environment.
  • Good insights into the Omani gas sector, with an understanding of the sector’s regulatory and business issues impacting the industry.
  • Arabic and English proficiency is a must, other languages are a big advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
